Integrity in Business

At Silicon Optronics, Inc. (SOI), integrity in business operations is regarded as a core value. The Company is committed to establishing a robust compliance framework and upholding the highest ethical standards to ensure that all internal and external activities are conducted with transparency and fairness. Policies such as the Sustainability Policy and Procedures for the Prevention of Insider Trading have been implemented to guide employee behavior and strengthen corporate governance. In addition, a whistleblowing mechanism has been established to provide internal and external stakeholders with a channel to report misconduct, while safeguarding the privacy and rights of whistleblowers.
 

SOI has also developed a comprehensive risk management and assessment system to evaluate and mitigate potential risks in its operations, ensuring that the Company maintains sustainable and steady growth while pursuing competitiveness. Furthermore, SOI actively promotes a culture of integrity through regular education and training programs that enhance employees’ awareness of compliance and ethical standards, making integrity an integral part of the corporate culture. The Company aspires to build a professional, reliable, and trustworthy image that earns the confidence of shareholders, customers, and society at large.

In 2024, SOI did not incur any significant fines or non-monetary penalties for violations of social, economic, or environmental laws and regulations. There were also no complaints or reports related to unethical conduct or illegal activities involving the Company or its employees.

To implement its integrity management policy and actively prevent dishonest conduct, the Company has adopted the Code of Integrity and other relevant regulations. These are publicly disclosed within the Company to provide concrete guidelines for directors, managers, employees, and those with substantial control to follow when performing their duties.
